Yes
For the longest time Emma has said the word "yes" backwards. It always came out s-yeh. Well a couple of weeks ago I asked her something and she said "yes." I asked her a couple more questions and got the same "yes." It was kind of a sad moment, I'll miss that little s-yeh. At least for now I still have wosy. . . that's her backwards version of sorry with a "w" sound instead of the "r" sound : )
Emma has been my slowest with talking, although she's still been ahead of most kids her age. With all our excitement of moving and vacations over the summer her language skills have grown leaps and bounds. I love having our little conversations. A few favorite quotes. . .
I have a prize (surprise) for you
Hmm, let me think
Leave the door a cwack (crack)
OH FINE! (not loving this one so much : )
I missed you (usually said to Ben when he comes home from school)
Actually. . .
Thank you! (Emma is our most grateful child at the moment)
Seriously?
Even though she misses Hannah and Ben, I'm sure enjoying the time I get to spend with Emma, just the two of us.
Click here for a flash back of Emma two years ago in a different field of yellow flowers. My how she's grown. In fact, these pictures were actually taken back in May and I was surprised at the changes in her in just these few short months. She's growing up too quickly.

Of course I had to include the infamous Emma pout.

She is so beautiful and sweet. Definitely a keeper! I love when she calls to talk to me, it always makes my day because she talks so cute :)
I first found your blog months ago on the Two Peas forum - I always love ALL your pictures!!! Emma is a cutie!!! :)
Adorable pictures. She's just a doll and I love all the quotes. My Lily says a lot of those same things and I'll miss hearing them as she grows up. Toddlers are the best.
What a sweetie! She's grown up so much!
