{Flower Headbands}

I'm sure you know by now that I like my little girlies to have a little something pretty in their hair : ) Some of these pretties I've made and others have come from my friend Stephanie. Her etsy shop, Paislee Lane is full of cute and colorful flower headbands. Lucky for me, Stephanie has asked me to photograph her headbands a couple of times and I in turn get lot fun flowers for my girls. Most recently she sent me a few headbands to photograph for a special she's running on GroupDealz. So head on over and get a few pretties for you own little girlies.

{The Littlest Big Sister}

Yes, my little Sarah is soon to be a big sister! And if you guessed girl from all the pink in this image,
you would be right. Four girls and one sad little boy. One busy, but happy, family.

{Flashback Friday - Sarah & Mommy}

**In an attempt to blog the unblogged I'm going to do some flashback Friday posts. When I post
the next flashback the current one will be moved to it's chronological date within the blog.

Sadly, I didn't get any new, newborn pictures of Sarah and I. Thankfully my friend, Anita, was wanting to get a little photography practice and we worked together to get this image of me with my sleeping sweetie. Sarah has been such a delightful and content baby. I've really enjoyed spoiling her with extra snuggles. My favorite is holding her later into the evenings after all the other children are in their beds. Jake likes to remind me that I didn't do this as much with the others and I'd better be careful or she won't want to go to bed on her own, but I'm sure she'll be fine : ) So, for now, I'll just keep snuggling all the sweetness of my little Sarah.

{Happy Birthday Grandma}

Jake's parents came for Christmas and Sarah and Grandma ended up in twinner outfits one day,
so of course a picture was in order. Grandma hugs and kisses are always the best.

~She's so nice to me. I love her because she pushes me on the swings. I like her because she loves on me. ♥ Emma

~She makes the best caramels. She always has fun activities. She is happy when we talk on the phone or skype. ♥ Hannah

~She plays games with me like Sorry and Blink. She gives good cuddles on the couch. She watches my gymnastics. ♥ Ben

We love you Grandma and hope you have a wonderful birthday!

{Hard to Believe}

At 15 months and weighing in at 16.5 lbs, this little tiny thing is walking. I love all the little sounds she makes as
she's walking. She's just so delighted with herself and we're just as delighted with her.

{Little Miss Birthday Girl}

Unbelievably, my littlest princess turned one today. She has brought such joy and delight into our lives this past year. She is always so quick to smile and has been such a content and happy baby. I have developed quite a soft spot for my sweet daughter as we have enjoyed many tender moments together. I have seen great blessings in our life this year as we have had Sarah in our home and I am grateful. I'm looking forward to another year of beautiful moments with my sweet girl.

Having her cake and eating it too : )

{Complete}

When I took these pictures last August (when I was pregnant with Sarah) I bought an extra frame and hoped to be
able to get a similar picture of Sarah to add to the group. Well, fast forward one year . . . I used some clips to turn
Hannah's shirt into a dress, I took Sarah to the same location and I did a little photoshop magic on the very dry not as
green grass and voila a perfect match to complete my set. She was such a little doll that evening, just squealing and smiling.
If you'll notice her cute little toes, she always spreads them like that when she's excited. Now if only we had an updated family picture.

Here they all are happily on the wall in our office : )

{Flower Girls}

You've probably been wondering if I would ever post again. I've wondered myself at times. It's not that I haven't taken lots of pictures this spring, it's just been a stressful couple of months. It seems the longer I put off posting, the harder it's been to start again. So I decided tonight to finally get blogging off of my to-do list. Hopefully when I put it on my list again in a few days I'll actually do it : )

Anyway . . . I have a soft spot for lovely fields of flowers and I'm glad this one lasted through my procrastinating so I could get some pictures of my girlies. Sarah was by far the easiest. She is such a little smiler.

Blessed

This sweet little one was blessed by her wonderful daddy on the first of November. She was sleeping happily when I handed her to Jake, but she woke right up and was wide awake for the entire blessing. Thankfully she was peaceful and didn't make a sound : ) Jake's brother, Brad, and his mom were both visiting and we were very thankful to have a little family here for this special day. Sarah was given a beautiful blessing filled with wonderful promises. I hope as her mother I can love and nurture her in such a way that we will see the fulfillment of these promises in her life.

This dress actually belongs to Sarah's Grandma Ginny. She bought it 10 years ago with the hopes that all her granddaughters would be able to wear it and so far all of them have.

Definitely a treat!!

Daddy's Hands

Finally getting around to sharing a few of the many images I've taken of Sarah. I've been enjoying her too much to be at the computer editing or blogging, that and I'm a little tired : ) I love how tiny she looks in her daddy's hands.

We'll be missing these helpful, loving hands this weekend. Jake went to Idaho for his grandma's funeral. I'm so glad we were able to visit with her when we were in Idaho this past summer. Hannah played her a couple of songs on the piano and the kids were really sweet to her. She's been a wonderful grandma to Jake. Growing up, whenever Jake, or any of the other grand kids saw her around town, at church or at the school were she worked, they always had to say "Hi grandma, love you grandma." She has been in poor health for awhile and we are grateful she has been released from this life, but she will be missed.

Triple Pink

. . . and a little bit of blue. That's what we'll have in our family in a few short weeks! Three girls and one boy. I think we were all a little blue that Ben wouldn't be getting a brother, but we're tickled pink to be adding another baby to our family.

PS-- The title of the book is actually Double Pink (photoshop does wonders) and I got the idea from Sherri
