We've had lots of "friends" hanging out around our zinnias. Emma and I watched this little bee for quite
some time one morning, he was very busy.

{How Does Our Garden Grow?}

A few weeks ago the kids and I set out to find flowers for our front porch garden. I had planned
to just go with what they had at Home Depot, but on a last minute whim we stopped at the local
farmers market. So glad we did, because I found these beautiful zinnias and some impatiens. We
still made our stop at HD to get a few more filler flowers, but the zinnias are by far my favorites
this year. It seems at any time we can find the flowers in several different phases and we've
really enjoyed watching them progress to full bloom, and wow have they ever bloomed.

You've probably been wondering if I would ever post again. I've wondered myself at times. It's not that I haven't taken lots of pictures this spring, it's just been a stressful couple of months. It seems the longer I put off posting, the harder it's been to start again. So I decided tonight to finally get blogging off of my to-do list. Hopefully when I put it on my list again in a few days I'll actually do it : )

Anyway . . . I have a soft spot for lovely fields of flowers and I'm glad this one lasted through my procrastinating so I could get some pictures of my girlies. Sarah was by far the easiest. She is such a little smiler.
