Twirly Skirts

I got the idea for these cute twirly skirts from my friend Sarah. You can find the instructions HERE. I definitely recommend the ribbon option for the tie. They were so easy, I made one for my niece as well. Too bad I couldn't get a better picture of my girlies. Emma was not in the mood, and Hannah wasn't being very patient with her. So, what's a mom to do . . . cut off their grouchy faces and show off the cute skirts : )

LOVE THEM. Glad you found some of that black polka dot material- they turned out adorable. I am anxious to make a few more- don't they just make you happy?
Adorable! Love your choice of fabrics.
I thought the skirt was so cute when I saw it on Maiya!! She loved it too. Those were her exact words, "It's a twirly skirt!" I thought they turned out darling though. I want to make one!
The girls look so cute!! Again, did you make one for me? :) They are adorable.
I love the skirts so much that I am went and got fabric today with a friend of mine. We are going to make some for Kiya and her daughter Brylie. I am also going to make one for Brooklyn and Madi. I am so excited. Thanks for the great idea Shelley!!
I love that... very cute colors...I did Sadie's pictures (for her baptism) the other day and she started swirling-twirling-- I took a whole series of them-- it was so cute and girly-- Sadie just lost in the joy of a full skirt.
So cute! Just forwarded to the MIL to see if she could make one for Gabby!
Thanks for sharing the link and your awesome pics!
You make me wish I had more girls!!
