Love Story
I first heard the song "Love Story" by Taylor Swift last fall and immediately loved it. A few weeks later I happened to catch part of the music video and it was so beautiful. The lighting in the castle scenes was amazing. Since then, the kids have become big fans of the song too and we listen to it almost every time we're out doing errands. Even little Emma sings along : ) Anyway, I thought I would post the video so you could see the kind of light I wish I could get all the time and maybe the song will make you smile too.
On a related topic, in college I discovered the music of pianist, Jon Schmidt (so I've been a fan for awhile now ; ) Well, come to find out (through my friend Sarah), he has composed a piano/cello version of "Love Story". I wanted to include it here for you because it is AMAZING and so fun to watch. Enjoy!!

Oh my goodness, that arrangement is beautiful!! And I love the story behind his inspiration for writing it. Addy and I listen to that song everyday as well. It's our song and she always gets happy when I turn it on :)
Shelley,
I have goose bumps now!! I loved it! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing! Loved it!
Ditto with the goosebumps and I too adore that lighting! Wow!! Made me smile!
We love Jon at our house too! He has given us a few private concerts at my parents home -complete with playing the piano upside down, and with his toes!
He was my parent's neighbor and hometeacher, and was always encouraging my Mom in/with her music composition. Music is such an important and amazing part of life! Thanks for sharing this :0)
Love this! My two favorite instruments..thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing! I've heard Taylor Swift's version, but not John Schmidt's. They are awesome! If you ever have a chance to see John Schmidt in concert, GO! He is such a fun entertainer and so talented. We have seen him a couple of times and he always inspires all of us (David, myself, Mitch & Ryan) to practice a little longer!
