Excitement
I wish I could share with you the sound that usually comes with this expression. It's a cute little intake of breath and it's often followed by squeals of delight and excitement. It usually occurs when daddy comes home, the phone rings, or someone knocks on the door.
A happy, giggly smile. . .
. . .and a little scowl too.
