Spring Break
I know, I know, it's been awhile! I fell off the blog wagon there for a bit, but hopefully now I'll be back to my regular scheduled blogging ; )
Last week was Jake's spring break, unfortunately Hannah's isn't until next week so we didn't do anything major. We did however do lots of minor things and had some good relaxing time as well.
Early last week Hannah came home from school with a list of things she wanted to do with her dad while he was home. Her list included: golf, park, games, color, draw, plant a seed, read together, a date, cuddles in the morning, baseball, and easy bake oven. Jake was wonderful and completed nearly everything on her list.
In between the items his own list, my list, and Hannah's list he managed to play lots of pirates, trains, and dinosaurs with Ben and a little kitchen and dress up with Emma. Seriously, what a dad! Jake even got in a round of golf. I tried to get him to go a couple more times, but his buddies were busy, and he doesn't like to golf alone.
Even though it though spring is nearly here, I still feel like I'm seeing a lot of this. . .
Hoping soon for a lot more of this. . .
