Jack O' Lanterns
We decided we'd better get our pumpkins carved this weekend :) We took them as our trunk decorations for the trunk or treat party we went to at the church Saturday night. I'm always surprised by ooh's and aah's we get over our simple little jack o' lanterns. Maybe people don't carve pumpkins much anymore. I think I've been carving pumpkins at Halloween for about 25 years now. Growing up we would carve pumpkins and eat caramel apples. I'm so glad my parents started this tradition that I now carry on with my children.

these are awesome...i love the designs...don't ya just love carvin them...i do. Brings back alot of memories...i think l like it just as much as my kids!
A polka dot jack o lantern...i LOVE it!!!!
The polka dot jack o lantern was fun and super easy. I just used my husband's drill, the kids thought it was pretty cool.
I love these! My favorite is the polka-dot pumpkin... I just may have to do that tonight when we finally carve our pumpkins. Yep, day before Halloween. Better late than never, I guess. Great photo and thanks for sharing!
The pumpkins turned out so good! I can see why Ben was so excited about his pumpkin when he was talking to me on the phone. Tell the kids great job! I am also glad mom and dad started that tradtion. Ryan and I have already made it one of ours. Love you Shell!
I feel so guilty, I haven't carved pumpkins with my kids yet. I guess I better hurry since I only have one day left to do it.
