Thanks Erika and Gin. Funny that you thought these pictures were...so crisp and clear. I used my new 85mm and I wasn't all that happy with them. I guess I need to practice with that lens a little more before I get it right.
The kids look so cute! I really like the color of the pictures. They are so nice.
Do you have the 1.8 85mm lens? I know when I try to zoom in that close (to make the background fuzzy) with my 85mm, I can't get enough light in my lens. Mine will only go down to an f-stop of 4. Any suggestions? These look sooo great! What time of day did you take these?

Laurie, if you're shooting in manual mode with the 85mm 1.8, you should be able to set it at 1.8 and then adjust your SS and ISO accordingly. Not sure if that helps you. These were taken around 11:00 am, but the shade was pretty deep at this location.

Suzette is cousins with your sister in law, Megan. So Megan is my cousins's cousin. I have known Megan for a long time and have had fun getting to know her sweet family. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent. I wish I lived closer so that you could take some photos of my boys!
