Summer Reading
Hannah has been reading the cutest series of books this summer. It's the Rainbow Fairies by Daisy Meadows. These are some of her first chapter books, she loves them and they've really helped her get excited about reading. If you have any little beginning readers in your home, I highly recommend them. Thanks to my sister for introducing us. If anyone has other recommendations, I'd love to hear them.
As a side note, Jake loves it when I put Hannah's hair in braids and I know he'll love this photo, even though she's looking so grown up.

We liked the Magic Tree House series- and Junie B. Jones (she is a bit sassy!).
My daughter has also loved the Rainbow Fairies- did you know there is a Weather Faries series, too?
I saw those at Barnes and Noble the other day and wondered if they were good. My boys LOVE the Magic Tree House books as well. My oldest won't read the Junie B. Jones books - he says they are for girls. Love Hannah in braids too - what a beautiful girl!

Perfect timing. We are going to the book store tonight to get some books for our upcoming trip to Chicago. These look so perfect for Sayler. Both of my girls love to read. I often have to make them put the book down and go outside!
Raygan is obsessed with Nacy Drew..and they actually have a series geared towards younger readers that Sayler enjoys called The Nancy Drew Notebooks, and they also enjoyed reading the Bobbsie Twins and The Boxcar
Children.
BTW, love the braids as well!

I love these images! Your daughter is gorgeous! I love her dark red hair...and cute complexion! The braids are perfect!
This seems like such a fun series! I will keep it in mind for Christmas gifts this year. Too bad Emma isn't quite there yet. I love Hannah's braids and that first pic is so cute with her feet...
okay, so i just told Megan that she had THE.CUTEST. kids, but I have to say, yours are soooooo adorable, too! ...and Holly's, too, you guys are all so blessed!
