The 4th of July (on the 10th)

Well, I'm finally getting around to some pictures. We had a really nice Fourth of July. We had a picnic and attended an "Old Fashioned" celebration. They had pony rides, a magic & juggling show, crafts, face painting, and watermelon. There was a hot air balloon that was planned for little "lifts" but it was too windy so they let the kids run around inside. The kids also got to do a little laundry in a bucket with a washboard (thank goodness for modern conveniences!) We ended out the day with a few sparklers.

Having spent the last 3 yrs in the Air Force, we have seen first hand the struggles individuals and families face when they serve in our military. We are thankful for you and all who have served before to protect the freedoms we enjoy.
